Day 9

I'm finally caught up ad back on schedule. I never want to be behind again! It's not worth staying up late to play catch-up.

There is a kid here in my dorm, Coleman, Who Is show a desire to grow and become a true leader. A leader who doesn't just look for the outward actions, but one who wants to understand the reason behind the action, so he can help them overcome their struggles. It's pretty awesome! I only pray it will last and not go to his head.

Today I was reading about prayer. One thing I did learn was how much I demand things of God. God tells us to give him our burdens, not just ask him to fix them. And thats something I have always done: I ask God to do this or that instead of handing him my troubles. So in reality I have been trying to do things in my own strength while demanding him to help me. It doesnt work that way. We must give him everything, and then He will direct our paths.

"As I abide in the presence of my King, a holy instinct guides my steps."
