Today was kind of on the stressful side of things. I had the company to myself for most of the day while my other TAC went and did some maintenance and logistical stuff. But it was ok because I then got to go fishing with some of the cadets this evening. It was fun but we didn't do so good.
I left the. book I normally read in my truck , so right now I'm reading another book, and it's really good! One of the things it starts off with, is "watch And pray, not watch Or pray." This really makes since but is something that is easily overlooked. But yet it's a command given by God. Watch and pray. They must not be forgotten. There many accounts in the Bible of people in the Bible who ether did not, or forgot to watch, or pray. And it never turns out good. Look at David. The one time he didn't pray and do what he was supposed to, he ended up falling into a deep sin. It's something I never researched but something that needs to be. It's basically doing your part of your prayer. You don't just pray and walk away. If all you do is pray, then walk away and do the opposite of Gods command, then why would God answer you? Or give you the answer you want? Or, if all you do is follow Gods commandments and never pray, why would he give you the desires of your heart? You have to do both. Watch And Pray. Pray that God will help you, and follow his commands.
So that's basically the first part summed up. But, the book is in more eloquent terms.
