Day 11

Today was probably the hardest day so far in the challenge. There will probably be harder, but today was tough. And I did fail in one aspect. I ended up sleeping the whole 7 hours that I have off in the day, so as is expected, I am behind. Once again. yay.

Something happened yesterday that, believe it or not, brings me great Joy. Because you see it was something God was telling me needed to happen. However, I was kind of ignoring God, so he spanked me for that one. It was like He was telling me, "If you aren't going to do anything about it, then I will." It meant something was successful. Something had been done right according to God. And no matter what ANYONE tells me to do next time, I WILL continue to do it the right way: according to what God has convicted me is the right way. There is no better rewarding way, then that of Gods way!

Last night I was talking with one of my cadets who had something traumatic happen in his family on this day 5 years ago. And every year this month is very hard for him. So I was talking to him, and one of the questions that came up was, "If God knows everything, then why are we on earth?" "And why were we created?". Some tough questions. We discussed everything from free will, to Adam and Eve being created perfect, to Gods sovereignty, to God being all knowing and all present, and predestination. But it all ended being summed up in one quote the cadet kind of created.

"God gave us a choice so we CAN glorify Him."

Our purpose on earth is to glorify God. We can only do that if we have the choice to glorify him. This somehow solved all his problems and answered all his questions. It can truly be said that God did that, not I. Because I can't even figure out how that one quote answers all those questions. But, it did help him deal with his trails, so that is awesome to see! You never know what God will do tomorrow, Thats what makes it so exciting!

ow to finish the ret of the stuff that needs to be done.
