Writing to be writing

That's it this post is just because I feel like writing! :). The main reason I have not been keeping this blog up to date is because I only had my iPod to use. And it has a VERY small keyboard. But now I have my iPad, so I should've keeping this at least a little more up to date.

For those of you who don't know, my current plan for the near future is to first make money the fastest way I can and then to buy a car and after that it all gets a little fuzzy. I have two options, either go to the fire academy or go to college.

Fire Academy. The benefit to the fire academy is that by this time next year I could be making over 25k a year. The down side to it is that I would be limited to how far I can go up in the ranks. Because you need a degree to go to the higher ranks. I'm not to sure on the specifics because I haven't completely researched it all just yet.

College. The plus side to this choice is that I will have no limits as to how high I want to go in the ranks. And thus a lot better retirement plan. The down side to this choice is that is pushes everything, as far as "the rest of my life" goes, back about four to five years.
And to be honest I already feel I have done this with the time I spent at ALERT. Ah yes, ALERT, O how I long to see you once more. ALERT is my home, because they say home is where the heart is, well I definitely left a piece of me behind when I left. Why not even one day goes by without me thinking of it. I would recommend it to all men! But not just to go to basic and be done with it. No, I can only recommend going through the entire program! It very challenging! Not Really academically more everything else. Don't get me wrong though, some of the courses are the toughest you can take, but because of the environment everything is made easer. It something that you can probably only understand if you went through it!
