Sunday School 2

So I know it's already Tuesday, but I've been pretty busy/procrastinating.

This past Sunday we focused on truth. Fidelity to the original. We looked up a couple of words. The first word was dating. In today's Webster dictionary it means a predetermined time and place to meet socially with someone of the opposite sex. And in the 1828 Webster dictionary it means to put a specific time/place to an artifact, or to put a date to something.

The second word we looked up was gay. In today's dictionary it means to like some one of the same sex. Most everyone also believed that it also meant to be happy. But when we looked it up in the 1828 dictionary it said, an ornament, to set above the standard.

So as you can see the world at some point changed the meaning of words and just excepted it without questioning it's meaning. My question, is what else have we just accepted as truth without questioning it true meaning? Have we done that to Christianity? I think most people have. Hence the state of the church. The Bible is the original truth our beliefs, if does not line up 100% then it is not true. There is NO MIDDLE ground!

The other thing I want to touch on, is during the class bro. Jerry asked "Fred, what right do you have to even consider one of the young ladies in this church for marriage?", and I had to say, I don't know. And I still don't know.. What right do I have to consider any young lady for marriage? This is the question that plegs (I know it's spelled wrong) my thoughts. I am looking forward to finding the answer.

I think that's about all right know. So till next week, goodnight!
