These past couple of weeks have been quite interesting! We have been doing dive training, and I have learned a lot more then the last time I was leaning diving. It started out last week when we went to Galveston Island here in Texas. We left on Tuesday with the intent on diving the next day. Well when we got down there the weather was not in our favor it was way to windy! So we decided to wait until that morning to see what the weather was going to be like. It turned out to be right on the border of being to bad, but we went anyway. Now where we were going to be doing the diving was about 40 miles out to sea, so instead of going the whole way we decided to play it safe and only go about 25 miles out. however, we did not know how long it was going to take us to go this 25 miles. It took 4 HOURS!!! and the seas ended up being quite rough considering the size of boat we were in. When we finally made it out there the current was to strong to do any diving, so we packed up and headed for shore. It was the most miserable trip on the ocean I have ever took! Plus our boat was only big enough for about 7 out of the 20 people to lay down! But it was a lot of fun nun the less.
And as usual I have run out of time for this writing session. If any of you want me to write about something specific, then just let me know and I'll do my best! I will be going night diving tonight! yay
Fred.
