Hi everyone! Don't worry I haven't forgotten about my blog, I just procrastinate a lot!
So to give ya'll a quick update on everything that's been going on since I finished my 30 day challenge. I have been fairly busy since then; going to New Orleans, Then to Little Rock, then to Bull Shoals, to Springfield, To Pensacola, then back to Port Gibson. So lots of traveling. and in a couple of weeks I will be going to Birmingham for a weekend.
After I got back to Port Gibson Matthew and I started I new sleep cycle program that we are finding very difficult to adjust to. But we are sticking with it, and hopefully within the next couple days/weeks we should become fully accustomed to it. The cycle is called Dymaxion. The concept is to get 30 min of sleep every 6 hours, that's 2 hours of sleep for every 24 hours. I did a video explaining all of it but later found out that this blog does not support video uploads. We decided at first to do the Dymaxion cycle, but we soon learned that in order to jump straight into something like that you need need to be extremely disciplined in following a routine. We were not so there were times when we would not wake up to our alarms. Because of that we have decided to start with the Everymans cycle where you get 4 hours of sleep during the night, 12:00am-4:00am, and 3 30 min naps throughout the day, 6:30am 12:30pm and 6:30pm. With this schedule we should be able to aclimate our bodies into the Dymaxion with much greater ease. The goal in all of this is to gain more free time to accomplish this that would otherwise be impossible, and because it is said that after you are acclimated you will wake up each time more refreshed the. If you were to have woken up from an 8 hour sleep. And I only get 4-6 hours of sleep during school anyways.
