Where to start... Lets start with spiritual warfare. That is what we deal with on a daily basis. Everything here has something to do with spiritual warfare. The first thing in the battle is to realize everything is connected to the battle. Even the smallest outward expression. Because, the outward actions are a reflection of what is inside. Difficult for the students to comprehend. They have been taught there whole lives to live for themselves. They don't understand the concept of the Holy Spirit.
They are very selfish. And I don't blame them completely. It is the way they were raised, they don't know any better. However, once they are presented with the truth it becomes a choice they must make. And they must be held accountable for those choices. Be it good or bad. They push and fight back, but it is my job to persevere and hold them to a standard.
A very difficult thing for us to do is to explain to them what a true man is, when they already have a concept of what a true man is. The only thing we can do is point them in the right direction and pray. After that it is up to them to make the choice.
