HOLINESS

I used to believe that holiness was the process of removing all the sin in ones life. But as I have studied it more, I have come to realize it is much more. It is not just about removing. In fact it is probably the lesser. What I believe to be more important, is what is being put in. Think of it this way, you don't start getting rid of the sin before you are saved do you? No, of course not. Before you can take out you have to put in Christ. In the process of holiness if you don't put anything in to fill the voids where you took something out, then they will just fill right back up with the same kind of stuff you are trying to take out. You must fill those voids with Christ. Which is a part of growing in His image! It is NOT something you can just choose from. It is a MUST! Commanded by Christ himself!  "Be ye holy as I am holy."
