This simple word contains so much meaning; entire books have been wrote on it. Yet how can one word have so much meaning? Well let me try to put it this way.
There was a man who walked on this world long ago, who gave this word all of its meaning. Before this man was born it was just another word with no more meaning then the rest. While he was alive it had no other meaning, but while he was dying the word was beginning to transform, from something simple to something so incredible we will never be able to fully understand it. And because of the life that he led the meaning of this word was changed for ever.
Then there was a book that was written about this man and those who new him. A book which describes this word to a "t". A book which will guide you to this word, and cause your life to reflect its meaning. He gave us this book to point us to him and to show us the path to righteousness. It is because of this book that today we are given a choice. A choice to live, or a choice to die. A choice to stop living our lives selfishly, and to start being responsible for the way God commands us to live. To live for our own fleshly desires, or to live our lives in such a way that will be of profit for eternity.
My question is simple, do we truly know what it is to live? Or to die? Do we ever fully understand the consequences of our choices? Christ was sent into the world, lived among us died and rose again all for one simple little word we carelessly through around as though it were nothing at all.
What will you choose? To die to self and live for others? Or to live for self and die to others? The choice is yours; Choose wisely, it may be your last!
This was not my original post... But my other one was deleted mistakenly so I rapidly wrote this one. So I apologize if it is not very good, though I think the point still comes across the same!
